SpeakThinkSwallow is currently a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance at this time.

Payment Terms & Accepted Forms of Payment

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made.

Accepted forms of payment include:

• Ivy Pay– a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment platform designed specifically for healthcare professionals. Ivy Pay allows clients to conveniently and securely pay using a debit or credit card directly through a payment link sent via text message.
• Cash

Failure to provide payment at the time of service may result in postponement of future appointments until the account balance has been resolved.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

At SpeakThinkSwallow, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client to ensure individualized care and treatment. We kindly request adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ noticefor any cancellation or rescheduling request.
• Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice (“no-show”) may also result in a fee.
• Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in limited scheduling availability or discontinuation of services.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur and will take extenuating circumstances into consideration when appropriate.
